--The Beatles held the top 5 positions in the Billboard Top 40 singles in America (& made their first appearance on TV on the Ed Sullivan show)

--The Rolling Stones release their debut album, "The Rolling Stones"

--Bob Dylan releases, "The Times They Are a-Changin"

--Race riots were taking place in many cities across the country

--The 24th Amendment to the Constitution of the US was ratified

--Elizabeth Taylor married Richard Burton for the first time

--The U.S. Suirgeon General reported that smoking "may" lead to lung cancer

--Cassius Clay beat Sonny Liston for the World Heavy Weight Championship

--The 1st Ford Mustagn was built

--Buffalo Wings were first made in the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York

--The computer mouse was invented

--Bubble wrap was invented

--Things were escalating in Vietnam.


Life is short . . . it passes by quickly . . . don't miss out. There is nothing more important than focusing on JESUS (Matthew 6:33; 22:36-40). Why do you think you exist . . . to eat, drink, & be merry . . . and then die? Well, you will . . . unless JESUS comes back first.
